What can you do?
Help the Irish Coalition to End Youth Homelessness build momentum.
The Coalition is open to all civil society organisations that share the following understanding and objectives:
- Youth homelessness is a problem which, with the right mix of policies and service supports, can and must be ended.
- While young people experiencing homelessness have much in common with others who are homeless, their vulnerabilities and support needs can be different and they may require a range of specialist policy and services responses.
- Youth homelessness needs to be tackled urgently. An experience of homelessness at a young age has the potential to have life-long consequences.
- A separate sub-strategy within Rebuilding Ireland should be developed in response to the needs of 18-25 year olds who are homeless.
